A cellulose acetate nail brush.
Cellulose acetate is one of the early cellulose plastics, which at the time served as a surrogate for horn and tortoiseshell and is now an original itself, which is imitated by cheap thermoplastics. The material is pleasant to the touch, never cold, insensitive to water, of astonishing optical brilliance and with a marbling that is different for every product made from it. The nail brush made of cellulose acetate shows hardly any signs of use even after years.
From Koh-I-Noor from Italy. Cellulose acetate body. Trim made of wild boar bristles. The shorter top is used for fine cleaning of the nails. Bristle length 1.3 cm on the bottom and 1 cm on the top. Length 7.5 cm, width 5 cm. Weight 70 g.
